There are many opportunities for volunteering at Southside and we greatly appreciate the help that we always receive from our families.  In order to comply with policy requirements from the Department of Children and Families (DCF), we require all volunteers helping in the classroom to:

  • Receive approval from the Preschool Office prior to date of volunteering;

  • Have a completed Volunteer Affidavit form on file in the Preschool Office;

  • Sign in and and out on a Volunteer Attendance Log;

  • Wear a name badge indicating they are a volunteer.

All volunteers must follow all preschool procedures.

Safety of the children is of utmost concern.

Our program is open to all children without regard to race, religion, or national origin.
